Old Coggers Ride out to the Side House Cafe Claypole

A good ride out with Kev(the unit), Tim, Clive and Roger.

Conditions were dry, coolish and for a change, no rain came. Destination, the cafe at Claypole and we have to report that we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, drink and the service. Wasn’t cheaper than SGC though 😂.

Kev was a little worried he couldn’t see his bike as we went indoors, but all bikes were present and correct when we departed.

After a couple of miles I noticed that we was doing an average of 17mph. This dwindled to 15.8mph as we battled the ever increasing head wind to the finish. All in all a great route through some pretty Nottinghamshire villages thanks to Kev and Tim.
