This week's excellent weather allowed 9 Mansfield Road Club riders to enjoy a picturesque ride…

A great turnout of 11 riders set out on a sunny day, with more comfortable temperatures than of previous hot days. A good pace was set as we headed towards Haywood Oaks, Lowdham, East Bridgeford, Bingham, Harby, Langar and Bottesford, route courtesy of Kev, ride leader.
At the cafe, Mark had a puncture, bizarrely his back tyre went flat as we were eating. Newcomer Darren Johnson Yates and Tim helped with the repair.
On the return leg via Car Colston, we were joined by Red/Black rider Adam Shaw, who rode part way back with us.
A rain shower greeted us, just as we came back into Mansfield, but didn’t spoil the fun.
A decent average of 16.3 mph ish was achieved on a successful good ride.
Why not come and join us.
