Enjoyed the ride out Tuesday with the coggers, much stronger in the legs than 2,wks…
A great turnout of 12 riders for GTs Derbyshire dales fun run. The weather was overcast, but not cold as the group made its way up some challenging climbs.
The first major climb, followed by a fast run down into Cromford to a welcome break at the Tor Cafe, not the largest but good value.
We just about managed to get seated outside and had the ubiquitous drinks, bacon cobs and cakes.
We then set off for the second tough climb up to Crich Tram museum, which was followed by some more climbing and some very fast downhill sections of 40mph plus. I got 42.9 and Kenny did 45mph.
A great action ride with superb views and company.
