Red and Blue merge to a Purple Ride

As many riders from the Red group were taking part in The Dirty Reiver event today, Red and Blue groups merged to ride to Wellingtons Cafe & Bistro otherwise known to us as Tickhill Garden Centre, near Bawtry.

We had eight riders and although of different strengths, were disciplined enough to stay as a group for the whole ride.

Very cold start again, and didn’t warm up a great deal all day, but the sun was out and made for a very pleasant ride.

The route was via Edwinstowe, Budby, Thoresby, Retford, Clayworth, Bawtry, Tickhill and back via Worksop, Carburton, Langwith and Shirebrook to Mansfield.
