MRC riders in the UCI Gravel World Championships

Two MRC members Lee Shaw and Paul Slater competed in the UCI Gravel World Championships in the Netherlands over the weekend. To even qualify for this event both riders had to finish in the top 25% of their respective categories in the UCI Gravel World Series events throughout the season.

On Oct. 11 and 12, the 2025 Bolero UCI Gravel World Championships took place in South Limburg, in the Netherlands.

Paul raced on Saturday in the M50 cat race, and completed the 131km with 3500′ of climbing course in 4:13:55

Lee raced on Sunday in the M35 cat race, and completed the 181km with 6000′ of climbing course in 5:27:16

I think we can agree it was a magnificent achievement for both riders, well done to you Lee and Paul
