MRC in the Canary Islands

Four MRC members jetted off to Gran Canaria for the first of our cycling holidays this year.

Wonderful riding conditions on beautiful roads in 28-30 degrees of sunshine for the whole week.

We road over 200 miles and climbed around 15000 feet over seven rides.

Based in Maspalomas in the south of the island we did rides to the valley and climb of ‘Montana La Data’, to ‘Taurito’ along the famous coast road, the challenging ‘Soria’ climb and the brutal ‘Fataga’ and ‘San Bartolome de Tirajana’ climbs.

Finishing of the week with some much needed flat roads to recover.
